Infraction Policy
In the event that expectations are not carried out, the Coach will issue a demerit for a particular infraction. The following would be examples of infractions warranting a demerit:
Each member will be allowed three demerits without consequence. Upon receiving the fourth demerit, the member will be suspended from a performance (to be designated by the Coach). Upon receiving a sixth demerit, the member will be suspended from a second performance. Any further demerits will result in expulsion from the team.
Unfortunately, there may be other instances where the infraction is such that the Coach or Kings Athletic Department feels it warrants automatic suspension from team activities/performance or even removal from the team. All team members are expected to abide by the "Team Up" policies mandated by the Kings Athletic Department, including grade requirements and alcohol/drug policies.
- Unexcused absence (you have not notified the Coach prior to the absence)
- Tardiness
- Incorrect practice attire
- Forgetting paperwork
- Forgetting prop
- Forgetting costume pieces, accessories, makeup, bobby pins, etc.
- Excessive talking or interruption
- Improper language or representation
- Dishonesty
